Safe and secure online booking.

Hobart, Australia's most southern capital city and
its smallest, blends heritage with lifestyle like no other Australian
capital. Rich in history, Hobart is defined by both the Derwent River
and the sea. Hobart's heritage architecture echoes the sentiments of
its maritime past. If you take a harbour cruise or drive to the summit
of Mount Wellington you'll soon appreciate Hobart's close ties with
the water. Its suburbs cling to the banks of the Derwent River and its
city buildings don't stray far from the docks and the estuary which
broadens into Storm Bay and soon to the sea. Your accommodation in Hobart
will reflect this maritime focus simply by its close proximity to the
water and there is no shortage of Hobart accommodation. This city is
probably Australia's most stress free city and the accommodation in
Hobart will make sure of this. A more laid back attitude to almost everything
will make your stay here very relaxing. Hobart’s lifestyle provides
all the cultural and social advantages of a capital city whilst retaining
a relaxed, quality lifestyle. However, Hobart is not as conservative
and provincial as many Australians are led to believe. There is a real
sense of history here - just take a stroll around Salamanca Place and
soak up the atmosphere! And there is definitely no shortage of markets
and festivals. And of course the accommodation in Hobart and surrounds
will satisfy all comers. Whether you're looking for budget backpacker
accommodation, traditional bed and breakfast accommodation, motels or
grand and eloquent hotels, you are sure to find something to satisfy.
Don't leave it any longer. Hobart is sure to deliver one of your most
memorable holidays and the accommodation in Hobart and Hobart itself
is really only the beginning. Tasmania has so much more to offer. Have
a look at some of these stunning photographs
of Tasmania; courtesy of Tourism Tasmania. Although being
the smallest of the Australian states, Tasmania makes up for it in so
many ways. If you are fortunate enough to have the time to venture outside
of Hobart then you are in for some marvellous experiences. Just a short
drive south brings you to the historic site of Port Arthur. Australia's
earliest convict settlements began here. Times then were very harsh
but there are no leg irons today at Port Arthur - not those that you
have to leave on at any rate! This southeast district of Tasmania is
known for its sweeping views across the Tasman Sea from cliffs with
sheer drops into deep blue water. The southwest district of Tasmania
and not far from Hobart is home to the Huon Valley. Storm Bay, Bruny
Island and national parks. So much to explore. Just northwest from Hobart
is home to the Central Highlands. Here you will find Lake St.Clair;
Australia's deepest lake. A little firther on comes the west coast.
Strahan, Queenstown and of course the now famous Franklin-Gordon Wild
Rivers National Park. A world heritage listed area of outstanding natural
beauty. North from here is Stanley and the northwest district. The coastal
highway here is very rugged and always in sight of the coast. If you
have the time and the inclination the Tarkine Wilderness Area is more
than worth visiting. You could head east from here to Devonport and
the spectacular Cradle Mountain. Not to be missed! Then comes Launceston,
the Tamar Valley and on to the northeast coast of Tasmania where the
picturesque fishing port of St Helens awaits. Further down the east
coast is the Freycinet Peninsula - bushwalkers and kayaker's paradise
and home to the beautiful Wineglass Bay. There is accommodation in Tasmania
to suit all budgets and tastes. Please scroll down towards the bottom
